Is God Calling You?

Have you ever wanted to be a part of something bigger, something different, something that is yours in its own special way... while still being special in yet another way for someone else around you?

That’s how it feels to work on God's team using the special gifts he gave only you. God made each of us like a snowflake, no two people are exactly alike, each of us has that uniqueness that the Father has provided us with. 'That thing' that we think

of as completely normal but the rest of the world sees as spectacular.

It may be, how you listen to people and they feel so very special or your ability to cook and feed not only the tummy but also the soul, or how you can set up a room and when you leave, a piece of you is still there in the loving way you arranged things.

All of these things are gifts that we take for granted in our daily lives, but when

used as God intended they become much greater than we could ever imagine.

God made us communal beings and with this he made our glorious gifts to be

even more powerful when used together with others around us.

The Retreat House is completely run by volunteers, people just like you who

have a God given gift they want and need to share with those around them.

We need people who are organized.

We need people who love to meet new people.

We need people who love to clean.

We need people who love to cook.

We need people who love to decorate.

We need people who love to look after people.

We need people who love people.

Take a listen...is God calling you?

If you hear the Lord calling you to use your unique God given gifts, then pick up the phone, drop us an email or

drop in and see us in person.

The Retreat House

Located in the heart of Alliston beside a quaint historic Anglican Church set amidst beautiful grounds.

It is a place where one is restored... finding rest in God's peace... being still. It is a place to experience God's hope, healing and grace.  It is a place one can listen to and share the stories of Jesus... then and now.

We invite everyone to come and experience the presence of God.
